I hereby give you notice that there will be a meeting of LIDLINGTON PARISH COUNCIL be held at 7.00 pm on MONDAY 26th OCTOBER 2026 at Church Hall, Church Street
All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder. Members of the public are invited to speak during the Open Forum.

1) Open Forum – members of the public invited to speak

4) EAST WEST RAIL impact on the village to include construction work, road closures and public meeting in the village with East West Rail on 7th November
5) Parish Councillor vacancies – ability to co-opt new members to the Council
6) PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT to include:
a) CB/26/02993/FULL Demolition of existing single storey rear flat roof extension and erection of single storey rear extension with pitched roof and roof light. Additional window to existing side elevation at 11 Whitehall
b) CB/TRE/26/00433 Tree Preservation Order MB/22/2002/G1:Fell Ash Tree (G1) as close to ground level as possible due to significant crown dieback, dead branch structure present within the canopy and basal cavity with extensive internal hollowing at Hill End House, Millers Lane
c) Public consultation on Minerals and Waste by the local authority, response to be discussed
d) Other planning matters received since the publication of the agenda
7) UNITARY COUNCILLOR REPORT

a) Invoices for payment
b) Quotations for consideration – village Christmas decoration items
c) External audit report
d) New Councillor guidance document for review and approval
e) Play area equipment quotations for considerations, preferred contractor to be agreed
f) Financial assistance items for consideration to include – grant application and Brogborough Solar Park Community Fund
9) Village matters to include Footpath 6 Chiltern Close barriers, Station Road highways pole for Speed Indicator Device, and any items relating to Working Group recommendations
10) To agree the minutes of last Council meeting 7th September
11) Correspondence and Information Received to include summary of items not covered on agenda
